Caregiving needs to be a team endeavor. I rely on caregivers, a hospice team, and my family and friends to help me get through this time. Some days, it feels easy and other days, it feels so hard. I have learned to give myself grace as I know I'm carrying a big load on my shoulders.
This is great support Eryka. This is definitely something that can come in handy for a family especially with the documentation because it helps that everyone is on the same page. Blessings to you and your family.
I can say that I'm thankful to have the support of a host of family members and good friends to help share the load. We work in shifts to ensure around-the-clock coverage and to avoid burnout. We keep a live spreadsheet that tracks prescription medicine dosages, appointments, and any other routine care. Organization and good communication are keys to staying on track and working well together.
